Dana, Ed.D. is a management consultant and executive coach specializing in family and closely-held firms. Richard is committed

business profile and individual action plan which leverages state-of-the-art cognitive, learning and personality research.
Richard is a licensed psychologist who received his Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Boston University and held
an appointment as Instructor in Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Harvard University Medical School. In 1985,
Richard founded Dana Group Associates, a multi-disciplinary human services firm that he sold in 2006 to dedicate full-time
to his management consulting business. His experience leading DGA from start-up to mature business provides him a deep, first-hand
understanding of the issues faced by businesses in varying economic climates. Accordingly, Richard is highly skilled and interested
in the areas of staging and managing growth and organizational change.

of Technology’s Venture Mentoring Service, the Family Firm Institute, and the American Psychological Association.
