Harvey has been consulting since 1984
He was the former
president of the Society of Professional Consultants, and served on the Board of the NE Chapter of the Family Firm Institute. He is also member of the New England Compensation Collaborative.
Harvey's education and Fortune 500 experience
were valuable in his development. However, critically important learning occurred after he left the corporate world.
In the last twenty plus years, he has worked with and helped dozens of private companies meet their goals. In so doing, he
refined his understanding of entrepreneurial businesses while developing services that are specifically tailored for
them.
When it
came to naming his company, Archimedes, whose accomplishment's included explaining the mechanical advantage gained
from the lever and the fulcrum, came to mind. The focus of my practice is gaining a talent advantage. The name Fulcrum was
selected to emphasize the parallel between human and mechanical advantage.
